Kommu Venkateshwara Metal Miners (KVM) was founded in India by Group Chairman, Rev.Dr.Kommu Sunder Bernard in 2009. Looking to combat the rapid growth in Iron & Manganese exports, Mr. Rev.Dr.Kommu Sunder Bernard realized the potential for commercial value in metal ore industry that could be sold for a high rate of return and offered as a stable investment.
Shortly after opening our doors, we received approval from the Board of IBM to run our own iron ore & barytes mine for over a 20-year time period. Following an aggressive marketing of the product to clients both domestic and abroad, the idea was warmly embraced. In just one short years, we were able to expand our operations to United States of America, China and United Kingdom. And in 2011, we expanded even further by expanding our marketing managers in Australia.
In the years that have followed, our global expansion program has built 2 Mines – encompassing 500 acres – and a reputable presence in over 30 countries around the globe. We are one door step away to achieve our first ISO certification, the Kommu Venkateshwara Metal Miners (KVM) brand has become a stable and respected member of the top 100 companies on the US Stock Exchange, enjoying an exceptional and consistent gain in market value.
We are also currently experiencing steady sales growth in the UK and throughout Asia – a momentum we intend to sustain. In the coming year, we are targeting for entry into Middle East, Japan, Singapore and additional countries within Europe.

Our group holding company is located within the heart of Hyderabad central business district of Andhra Pradesh,India , with our head office also situated in the center of Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh.
With over a decade of experience in mining industry investment, we pioneered the concept of managed mines in India and continue to maintain the benchmark for its success.
